The exhibition which took place from the 16th until the 22nd of June 2010 in Portbail was a beautiful tribute to Victor Martinez
Still today, visitors often asked about the technique used to create the impression of movements in the lines, timeless, some speed as if it would escape from the canvas. "Victor found questions about the technique used to create the pictures very frustrating!" says Monique Martinez . The "How?" had no meaning. The only thing that matteres is "Why?". "For him, only poetry counted, painting and the emotion which could be released from his paintings".
